The new dashboard will allow customers to track their jobs throughout the production process as well as offering a multitude of information on their account.

Director, Robert Cross says ‘All customers are given a dashboard where they can upload artwork, approve proofs, view the status of their jobs in production and track a delivery 24 hours a day. In addition, customers can access a lot of information on their account’

The system was born from the idea that we are seeing a new era of print buyers coming through who want real time access to the status of their jobs 24/7 as they want to get a POD for a delivery at 9pm at night for example.

Cross says ‘All clients still have a dedicated account manager who are on the end of the phone during the day and this system doesn’t take away from that but just adds value to the customer experience we offer’

The company intends to continue developing the dashboard with other functions in the pipeline such as being able to get live quotes and the facility to place a ‘one click order’ from estimates received manually via e-mail.

Cross says ‘Many of our customers have several jobs in with us at any one time, our vision is for a print buyer to get into work and pull up the Micropress dashboard with all their jobs in progress telling them the vital information they need to know that day. If we continue to offer good pricing, service and quality then we hope the further addition of the dashboard will attract more customers. Whilst some of the online printers may offer something similar we are not aware of any other print company in our arena offering anything like this solution’

The company has seen a significant upturn in work in recent months and is now operating at pre-pandemic levels and beyond and there is further expansion planned on the horizon.
